41. Excavated Artifacts from Jeju Government Office Building Site

내용보기

Excavated Artifacts from Jeju Government Office Building Site

During the Joseon Dynasty, Jeju was divided into the three counties of Jeju-mok, Jeongui-hyeon, and Daejeong-hyeon. The central Jeju-mok county office handled the political, administrative, and military affairs of the three counties. At the government office building site, researchers uncovered various fragments of white porcelain, buncheong potteries bearing inscriptions, and roof tiles along with many other artifacts that show the scale and significance of the local government.
